It started, as these things do, with a very demanding dog and an unreasonably picky cat.
Pet Peeve was born in South Africa from one simple gripe: pet products were either built to last or nice to look at — never both. Flimsy toys in neon plastic, beds that collapsed in a month, bowls you hid when guests came over.
So we became professionally peeved about it. We hunt down goods that survive real dogs and real cats — then hold them to a second standard: they have to look beautiful in your home. Natural materials. Honest construction. Colours that don't scream.
Every product in our range is tested by our own four-legged quality department, who accept payment exclusively in biltong.
